Shachak Lifts’ story began in 1980, when Shimon and Yael Amrad set out to build a different kind of company, one defined by uncompromising professionalism, personal service, and genuine care.

What started as a small, family-run metal workshop has grown into one of Israel’s leading lift companies. Today, Shachak operates nationwide, delivers hundreds of projects each year, and is known for its high standards, dependable performance, and meticulous execution. With responsive support and long-standing customer trust, Shachak continues to strengthen its presence across Israel.

In 2016, leadership passed to the next generation, Chen Amrad and Shimon Ben Zaken, who brought fresh energy and forward-looking approach, driving Shachak’s nationwide expansion.

Together, strengthened the company’s family foundations while accelerating professional growth.
In 2023, Shachak entered a new era, taking a bold step forward by appointing a professional executive team and establishing a Board of Directors to lead the company into the future.

This pivotal shift marked a new chapter in the Company’s journey—elevating Shachak from a family business into a market leader, while remaining true to its founding values: excellence, transparency, genuine service, and open communication.

Orit Rainhartz

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Orit brings over 25 years of proven leadership and executive management experience in complex, highly competitive industrial environments. Before joining Shachak Lifts in 2023, she served as CEO of a subsidiary of a major international corporation, where she led global R&D teams and managed end-to-end supply chain operations in Israel and worldwide. Earlier in her career, she was CEO of a business unit supporting leading customers in Israel and globally across the defence and medical sectors. Orit brings a rare combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and deep customer insight. She believes in leadership that brings innovation together with excellence.

On a personal note
Her commitment to challenge and continuous improvement reflects her passion for orienteering competitions in Israel and abroad through the Israeli Orienteering Association -an athletic and mental sport that proves it always pays to stay focused on the goal. When Orit isn’t driving the Company forward, she’s likely navigating her way to the next destination out in the forest.

Yehuda Maor

VP, Service Division

With over 25 years of hands-on leadership experience in high-stakes industries across the lifts, telecommunications, and automotive sectors, Yehuda has led Shachak’s Service Division since 2019. He oversees nationwide service operations, managing teams of technicians, service centres, and subcontractors, while championing innovative processes and smart operational tools. Known for leading large-scale organisations, Yehuda combines forward-thinking leadership with a sharp understanding of customer needs and top-tier service. His unwavering focus on operational excellence and customer commitment consistently delivers outstanding value and reliability.

On a personal note
Yehuda’s uncompromising dedication, discipline, and teamwork were shaped during his years playing for Israel’s cadet national team and in the premier league—values that continue to guide him today, proving there is no substitute for hard work and commitment.

Daniel Amsalem

VP, Engineering & Modernization Division

Daniel brings extensive experience in leading complex projects, with a strong focus on the lift industry. With an impressive track record of supporting, planning, and delivering hundreds of diverse projects, he combines broad engineering expertise with a deep understanding of market needs and customer requirements. Throughout his career, Daniel held key positions at leading companies in the lift sector, including Head of Engineering and Quality Control, where he advanced processes and developed innovative solutions. Since joining Shachak, Daniel has led the Engineering and Modernisation Division, bringing together commercial insight, engineering excellence, and uncompromising quality – delivering significant added value throughout the specification, design, and execution of each project.

On a personal note
His drive for continuous improvement and excellence is evident in everything he does—from pushing boundaries at work to running along the shoreline and powering through fitness routines. Discipline and consistency are his trademarks, whether he’s leading a project or breaking a sweat at the gym.

Idan Oz

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Idan brings over 15 years of proven financial leadership and management experience in demanding industrial and project-based environments. He offers a strong blend of managerial and financial capabilities, alongside a deep understanding of organisational needs and strategic growth partnerships. A firm believer in pairing clear financial vision with stability, Idan delivers real added value to the Company and supports secure, continuous growth.

On a personal note
Perseverance and determination—much like the rhythm of long-distance running—show that endurance, thoughtful strategy, and a focus on the horizon are what carry you across the finish line. When Idan steps away from the world of finance, you’ll likely find him planning his next marathon adventure.

Daniel Glatzer

VP, New Lift Division & Marketing

With more than 15 years of proven experience leading sales and marketing operations in highly competitive, demanding environments—particularly in the construction sector—Daniel has a strong track record of driving growth and consistently achieving targets. He brings a rare blend of strategic thinking, managerial leadership, and hands-on execution, together with a deep understanding of market needs, business expansion, and performance objectives. Daniel believes that combining commercial vision with deep industry expertise delivers meaningful value to customers throughout the specification and installation process for new lifts.

On a personal note
His uncompromising commitment and proactive mindset—much like CrossFit training—prove there is no such thing as “too big a challenge”, and there is always another push forward. When Daniel isn’t reaching new business highs, he’s likely heading for his next summit out in nature, on foot or on wheels.

Sivan Halfin

VP Human Resources

Sivan joined Shachak in 2018 and established the Company’s HR function, leading recruitment, employee development, and a growth-driven organisational culture. Previously, she spent seven years in recruitment and placement roles, specialising in matching talent to complex positions. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in human capital management, as well as in building strong organisational foundations.

She believes in connecting people to the organisation through attentive listening, professionalism, and the creation of a supportive, family-oriented working environment.

Our 24/7 staffed service centre, dozens of certified technicians across the country, and a smart monitoring, control, and reporting system ensure peace of mind, operational reliability, high availability, and uncompromising service.

Shachak’s Service Department includes dozens of certified service technicians, licensed as qualified electricians. Our technicians carry out routine maintenance, respond to repair calls, provide support for the Ministry of Labour’s twice-yearly inspections, implement technical corrections based on inspector findings, and ensure compliant reporting.

Our technicians receive ongoing professional training, including workshops on customer communication and interpersonal skills. Shachak also maintains a dedicated group of senior supervisors and veteran service technicians who specialise in resolving complex faults and recurring issues.

Shachak’s advanced service centre is located in Mevoe Carmel park, near Yokne’am, and operates 24/7, including Saturdays and holidays. Every call is handled courteously, professionally, and promptly—typically within the response times set out in the service agreement.
